Stargate at Wolcott Mill Metropark
Get together underneath the stars with partners from Warren Astronomical Society to observe the night sky through the observatory, Stargate at Wolcott Mill Metropark, Camp Rotary. Happens every fourth Saturday at Dusk. Whether you’re an experienced stargazer or need help learning your telescope, you’re sure to find somebody to talk to. Lower Huron Metropark – Space Themed Playground
Located near Woods Creek, this space-themed accessible playground will have kids (and adults) ready to blast off! The playground is broken out into various zones – Earth, Mars, Venus, and the surrounding Galaxy. Planet Venus is home to an enormous cabled climbing structure. Climbing to the top of this structure allows access to a unique viewing area and a 17-foot tall slide.
