Bench Program

Commemorative benches are available throughout the Metroparks. They offer our visitors a place to enjoy nature, rest for a moment and observe wildlife – and give you the perfect opportunity to show your support for the Metroparks in a personal and meaningful way. Each bench has a customizable bronze plaque to create the perfect tribute.

Commemorative benches are $5,150 each and guaranteed for 10 years. The commemorative bench sponsorship is considered tax-deductible and proceeds support the Metroparks.

Tree Program

Tree sponsorships are a perfect way to enhance the natural areas of your favorite Metroparks while creating a lasting tribute. Each donation goes to purchasing and planting a new tree, sourced from local growers and chosen because of their ability to grow and thrive in the Southeast Michigan climate.

For each tree you support, an engraved brass plate will be mounted on a wooden master plaque located inside the Metropark Office.  Tree sponsorships are $1,000 each. The tree sponsorship is considered tax-deductible and proceeds support the Metroparks.
