PARK CLOSURES
If you’re planning a visit to your Huron-Clinton Metroparks, it’s always a good idea to know-before-you-go. Check the park information below for any closures you should expect during your visit.
Please be advised, parks will begin to winterize and close some comfort stations/restrooms beginning October 1 for the winter season.
Delhi is open daily from 8 am – 8 pm.
Skip’s canoe livery is closed for the season. For canoe, kayak or tube rentals please contact Skip’s Canoe Livery at 734-769-8686 or http://paddlethehuron.com
Dexter-Huron is open daily 8 am – 8 pm.
Hudson Mills Metropark – Park is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Park Office – Open daily 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Cross County Ski Trails– Not available at this time.
Golf Course – Closed for the season. Thank you for a great 2024 season!
Please do not use the golf course as a walking trail. Please only use designated trails inside the park.
Huron Meadows Metropark – Park is open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.
Ski Center-The ski center will be open Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1 pm – 5 pm. Starting Monday, January 13, 2025 the center will be open during normal operating hours, conditions and weather permitting. Ski rentals must be purchased in advance online. Follow this link for rental availability

Bucks Run- Starting Monday, January 13, 2025 Bucks Run will be available during normal operating hours, conditions and weather permitting. We will have approximately 2 km of trails groomed for skate and classic skiing. Please check daily for updated trail conditions. There is an additional $5 daily trail fee for the use of Bucks Run or annual permits are available for $125. Dogs and walkers are not permitted on our groomed trails.

Natural Snow Classic and Skate Ski Trails – Trails were unable to be groomed today, January 13, 2025 due to limited snowfall. You are always welcome to come out and blaze your own trail.
Please do not use the golf course as a walking trail. Please walk on designated trails only.
Rustic Hike/Snowshoe/Nature Trails – The Moraine Fen trail is closed indefinitely between mile marker 34 and 35 due to trail conditions.

Environmental Discovery Center – Open daily 9 am – 5 pm.
Indian Springs Metropark Golf Course – Closed for the 2024 season.
Indian Springs Spray ‘n’ Play – Open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 11 am – 7 pm daily. Free of charge.
Sledding Hill – Open weather permitting.
Cross County Skiing – Open weather permitting.

North Branch Trails – Open from dawn until dusk. Weather permitting based on water levels.
FYI – Natural Resources Department is beginning restoration of the North Branch Trails through prescribed burning this spring. Immediately after burning, we will spread native prairie seeds throughout the area to encourage pollinator-friendly species. Future work may include treating invasive species and repeated prescribed burning every three or so years.
