June 7 & 8 - Michigan's Free Fishing Weekend

Michigan hosts two Free Fishing Weekends every year.  What does that mean? Well, all fishing license fees will be waived for two days. Residents and out-of-state visitors may enjoy fishing on both inland and Great Lakes’ waters for all species of fish.

So plan to get out to your Metroparks to cast a line on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8. You can explore the parks with fishing opportunities by clicking on the button below.
