We consider Huron Meadows Metropark our home park. Our kids have grown up in this park. We have used it in all seasons and for so many memorable events. My went fishing here on my daughter’s first Mother’s Day. My son ran cross country meets here. My daughter rode her bike without training wheels for the first time at this park. My kids ran around the lake to train for their karate junior black belt tests. We have hiked every mile of this park, kayaked and canoed up the river, cross country skied, and even sat n the park in the middle of the night to see the planets align. This park will always hold a special place in my heart.
