Today I completed the Metroparks Trail Challenge. It was my first year doing it. I grew up between Hudson Mills in Dexter and Kensington near Milford but had never been to several of the parks in the Trail Challenge. Huron Meadows was always a local favorite of mine growing up too, but feel spoiled by the amount of time I’ve gotten to spend in Hudson Mills over the years. I have a new appreciation for some of the Metroparks that I had never been to and I’m already planning my return trip before the end of the summer. What a wonderful way to promote the parks and encourage people to get out and experience them. I felt like Thanos in the Marvel Movies collecting park badges like Infinty Stones.
