I started participating in the Metroparks Trail Challenge in 2024 and have signed up each year since. Prior to participating, I had only been to a few of the Metroparks (the couple closest to my house). Participating in the Trail Challenge took me to parks that I may have not ever visited otherwise, many of which I have been back to, not just for challenges! Each park offers something unique and fun to explore- from trails, to beaches, nature centers, etc. there’s something for everyone! I’m so glad that the Huron-Clinton Metroparks continue to offer this program each year, even without the great incentives, it helps me get out of the house, walking, and enjoying nature! -Amanda L.
