Right side description: In 2025, the Metroparks officially established their first-ever physical location within the City of Detroit through the opening of the Huron-Clinton Metroparks Water Garden at Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park. Developed in partnership with the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, the 2.5-acre water garden creates new opportunities for residents and visitors to connect directly with the Detroit River through interactive water experiences, walking paths, educational signage, open-air classrooms and community programming.
