The Huron-Clinton Metroparks have been a cornerstone in my life. As a young child I enjoyed the squirt zone at Lake St. Clair. To my teenage years of running cross country at Stoney Creek, Wolcott, and Lake St. Chair. To watching my cousin get married at Indian Spings Metropark. Enjoying the wildlife views of Kensington. To the sunsets of Huron Meadows. To biking and tubing the Huron River. Every Metropark has its own unique history and recreation activities. I encourage anyone living in the metro Detroit area to try the Trail Challenge and to get out and explore nature in its own glory. -Drew
