A couple weeks ago we attended the Raptor Fest at Lake St. Clair Metropark and we loved seeing the eagles in the nest from the telescopes and using the borrowed binoculars. We actually took pictures of the binoculars and came home and bought the exact ones for ourselves. Last night we went and did our first Trail Challenge of the season at Wolcott Mill Metropark’s North Branch Trails and brought our binoculars. We saw turkey vultures sitting in a tree and watched them take off flying! It was so awesome! We also saw a lot of deer and other birds. It was a great day to be outside and explore, and spend time together! -Felicia J.
