Outdoor Adventures for Kids

Parents, are your kids tired of staying inside all winter? Bring them to Oakwoods for Outdoor Adventure Kids (OAK). This program aims to foster a love of nature, creative problem-solving, and communication skills, all while being outdoors in the fresh air away from computers and phones.

What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately 120 minutes, will be spent on the trail. The planned path surface is dirt and gravel, and mostly flat and level. However, conditions may determine that other trails, which include uneven terrain, may be utilized.

Ages: Children 8 – 12.
Time: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: $5 per child
Location: Oakwoods Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
