Join us as we celebrate raptors the entire month of September. We will be highlighting Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles and the identification of raptors in flight. These programs will bookend our HAWKFEST programming held the third full weekend in September. Enjoy practical, hands-on, and in-the-field experiences to give you a newfound appreciation for the raptor species seen at Lake Erie Metropark.

Saturday, September 6 – Mysteries of Migration
Sunday, September 13 – Hawk ID
Saturday, September 27 – Marshland Raptors Hike

What to Expect:
This program starts indoors, ends outdoors. Approximately 60 minutes will be spent inside; and 60 minutes will be spent on a leisurely walk. We will conclude at the Lake Erie Marshlands Museum. The planned path surface is dirt and gravel, mostly flat and level.

Ages: 8 and up.
Time: 10 a.m. – Noon
Cost: $3 child, $5 adult
