Buzz on over for a hands-on family adventure all about the critters that keep Michigan’s plants thriving! Discover the native pollinators in our state—including some of the weird and wonderful ones you might not know about. After a short, guided hike to try spotting these busy creatures in action, stick around to make your very own bee hotel to take home and help attract pollinators to your backyard. Fun, learning, and a little bit of nature magic for the whole family!

What to Expect:
This program takes place indoors and outdoors. Participants will take a short, guided outdoor hike on compact gravel trails with plenty of time for exploration and questions. Hikes will vary in length from ½ to 1 mile.

Ages: 7 and up.
Time: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
