Prepare your animal spotting skills and come search for owls during a guided adult hike. First, discover their amazing adaptions, as well as a quick who’s whooo introduction to the different kinds that can be found nearby. Then, we’ll take a stroll through the dark woods to see if we can find any of these secretive birds.
What to Expect:
This program will begin inside the Park Office classroom for approximately 30 minutes. The remainder of the 1.5-hour program time will be spent walking on the nature trails. Expect to walk about 1.5 miles. We will conclude at our destination: Park Office. The planned path surface is dirt and gravel. The planned path grade is slightly hilly, includes some rugged and steep terrain as well as some bridges and boardwalks. No prior experience is necessary. For maximum enjoyment, some of our 1.5-hour program time will require all participants to patiently remain quiet and listen closely.
