Living with Wildlife: Turtles

REGISTER HERE

Discover and experience what makes Indian Springs Metropark so special, through engaging activities about human-wildlife coexistence! Currently, more than 400 animal and plant species in our state are endangered and threatened. Get involved as we share the story of endangered turtles in Michigan. Helping turtles thrive benefits all the creatures they share their habitat with, and how well turtles are doing in an area can indicate how clean and healthy that area is. We will learn all about the needs of our neighborhood turtles, hunt for some places we could find them here at Indian Springs and discover how we can help turtles in our own backyards.
