Have you ever wondered how wool is turned into beautiful handmade projects? Join us at the Farm for an introductory class on rug hooking, wet felting, the art of natural dyeing of wool, and needle felting.
August 1 – Rug Hooking
August 8 – Wet Felting
August 15 – The Art of Natural Dyes
August 22 – Needle Felting
What to Expect:
This program is primarily indoors. No prior experience is necessary. This program will run about 2 hours and will require all participants to patiently remain quiet and listen closely.
Ages: 16 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: Multiple dates and times are available
Cost: $15 per child, $15 per adult
Location: Wolcott Mill Metropark, Upper Farm Center Picnic Shelter
Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. one week before the program.
