Animal Care & Health Workshop
Get hands-on with animal health and care in this full-day workshop! Join us for an immersive experience, starting with a mini farm tour covering the daily care and management of our farm animals. Participants will then conduct hands-on health exams with sheep and goats. After lunch, learn animal first-aid skills and principles, along with medical math and terminology, followed by a crash course in microbiology and parasitology.
What to Expect:
This program is mainly outdoors and in unheated barns. The planned path is dirt and gravel. The program is a 6-hour workshop. Please bring a lunch and water bottle.
Ages: Teens 14 – 19.
