Adult Nature Hike

REGISTER HERE

Join us for a guided exploration of the unique habitats and seasonal nature happenings at Stony Creek Metropark. Each month we’ll meet at the nature center to focus on a new topic, then head out to the trails to further discover and understand the plants and animals that live in the woods, fields, and ponds surrounding the nature center.

What to Expect:
This program starts indoors, ends outside. The time, approximately 75 minutes, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. Expect to walk from .5 mile to 1.5 miles. The planned path surface is gravel and occasionally steep. In winter months, snow and ice may make the trails slippery. For maximum enjoyment, some of our program time will require all participants to patiently remain still, quiet and listen closely.

Ages: Adults 18 and up.
Time: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Cost: $5 per adult
Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
