Canal Paddle: Series
Bring your own canoe or kayak, paddle, a personal floatation device (PFD), and a sense of adventure for a guided tour of the canals. Learn some local history, and keep your eyes open for local wildlife, as we explore this often unseen portion of Lake Erie Metropark. This program occurs on multiple dates in the morning or evening.What to Expect: This is a two-hour paddling adventure with a minimal amount of open-water paddling. Parents with younger children are asked to plan accordingly.
A limited number of kayaks are available for rent for the Canal Paddle program while supplies last. Kayaks may be reserved through the Lake Erie Metropark Marshlands Museum by calling (734) 379-5020 ext. 6836. Please note that kayak rentals at Lake Erie Metropark are currently only available for this program.Ages: 12 and up.
