Backwater Bonfire

A lot of our critters come out at night, mammals, amphibians, insects, and even some birds. Let’s hang out around the bonfire, make some s’mores, get to know each other, and learn about some of our nocturnal animals.

What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately 90 minutes, will be spent around our bonfire pit. We will conclude at the bonfire pit. The planned path surface to the bonfire area is sloped and asphalt.

Ages: Fun for all ages!
Time: 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult, children under 2 Free!
Location: Oakwoods Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
