Step into the past for an intriguing evening of history and folklore at the Indian Ridge Cemetery in Willow Metropark. As daylight fades, you’ll join a guided walk to this historic site, where the stories of those laid to rest there are woven together through local lore, documented history, and compelling narratives that bring the cemetery’s past to life.

This immersive experience is not a haunted attraction, but rather a thoughtfully engaging way to explore the people, events, and traditions that helped shape the area. Expect an atmosphere that is reflective, fascinating, and occasionally eerie in the way history often is—especially after dark.
This program is designed for adults 18 and older who are comfortable walking in low-light conditions and navigating uneven or off-trail terrain. Come prepared for a memorable evening of storytelling, discovery, and a deeper connection to the region’s history.

What To Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately 120 minutes, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. The area we will be walking in is un-even and hilly; and we will be walking through the area in the dark.
