Needle Felting Fun

Get creative together! This hands-on needle felting workshop is perfect for kids ages 8–12 to enjoy with a favorite grown-up, cousins, and best friends. Needle felting is a fun and forgiving craft that uses soft wool and a special barbed needle to create colorful, three-dimensional designs. No experience is needed—it’s easy to learn and great for trying something new together. Work side by side to make a felted ghost, an autumn leaf, or both if time allows. All supplies are provided, including finger protectors, so you can relax, craft, and make special memories together.

What to Expect:
This program will take place indoors. A group interactive activity with instructions will be involved. Dexterity will be needed as we work with needles and wool.

Ages: Children 8 – 12. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 10:30 a.m. – Noon
Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center

Needle Felt & Unwind (Adults Only) – REGISTER HERE

Looking for a little creative time for yourself? Join us for Needle Felt & Unwind, an adults-only workshop from 2–4 p.m. Learn the basics of needle felting, create a seasonal design and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of creativity. No experience necessary, and all materials are provided.

Ages: Adults 18 and up.
Time: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $5 per adult

Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center
