Wondering what you can do outdoors with your family? Join us at Lake St. Clair Metropark (rain or shine) for lots of ideas and activities to enjoy with your family in the great outdoors. Special activities include wagon rides, a straw bale maze, guided nature hikes, and other nature activities. Get out and see what you can do with the plants you find outside. We’ll go for a walk to ID plants you can use to dye with. Monarch ‘n’ Hummingbird Migration

Celebrate the fall migration of hummingbirds and monarchs. Learn about these beautiful animals and how they prepare for the long journey south. Hike with us to see birds and butterflies on the trail, and watch a state-licensed bird bander band and record data for songbirds.
