Join us for our longest guided hike of the season at 3.3 miles. This is a good chance to walk these two trails before cross country ski season begins. Get acclimatized to the coming winter, while getting exercise, and exploring a quiet part of southeast Michigan. Ages 10 and up. Wear good shoes, bring water and a snack. Getting lost is easy, but finding your way can be so much more fun! We’ll share with beginners the basics of navigation by map and compass. Join us in removing invasive garlic mustard from Huron Meadows Metropark. We will meet at Cedar Ridge Picnic Shelter (Going west on Hammel Rd, turn left). Look for the Metroparks vehicle and blue flag. Volunteers receive free day entry to the park, day passes for cars will be available at the volunteer day.

Two days of cross-country ski races for different levels and variety of racers. The Frosty Ski Fest races are part of the Michigan Cup Series of cross-country races.
