My mother always wanted to take my sisters and I camping as kids and she never got a chance to. After she passed away last year, I made it my mission to take my children camping in her honor. We loved the family camping at Kensington, there was so much for everyone to do, even my 16-year-old loved it! We did another family camping event at Lake Erie Metropark last year and this year we will be attending both again! I love the opportunity to spend quality time together as a family without the use of screen time. As of now it’s a tradition of ours to go every year. -Talia
