Growing up, my mom took me to Willow and the Oakwoods Nature Center all the time. I have so many fond memories of hiking the nature trails, but my favorite part was always exploring the nature center itself and discovering something new. During the summers at Willow, you could always find our family swimming, picnicking, or spending time with friends. We even hosted one of our large family reunions there. I also remember exploring the park and finding the cemetery, which felt like a special adventure. My favorite season at the park, though, was winter. I loved going sledding and spending snowy days outdoors. Even now, I enjoy taking my own kids there to experience many of the same activities I loved growing up. I hope these traditions continue for generations to come. -Stephanie
