My husband and I have been enjoying Stony Creek Metropark for over 50 years. Visiting the park allows opportunities to view wildlife that we don’t normally see. We don’t often see the eagles at Stony, but when we do, a jolt of excitement fills the air. We love to pause and enjoy sightings of turkey, deer, and swans. We once watched a huge snapping turtle lumber across a road. We hope this Metropark oasis stays around for future generations to enjoy like we do. -Sherry
