My girlfriend and I decided to do the Trail Challenge this year. We have heard about it before and pulled the trigger on doing it this year. What a fun experience it was to explore the 13 Huron-Clinton Metroparks and the Water Garden downtown.

While exploring the parks, we checked out the Nature Centers, the hawks, the bald eagle, and the owl on display. On our walks on the trails and through the parks we saw a doe feeding it’s fawns, a family of wild turkeys, bluebirds, turtles, fish and much more.

If it wasn’t for the Trail Challenge, we wouldn’t have seen what all the Metroparks had to offer. Kensington, Stony Creek and Lake Erie (Metro Beach) were the ones we would regularly attend. -Ryan
