I never knew about Lake Erie Metropark before the Trail Challenge. I am so glad I visited, because this is the most serene spot in Metro Detroit that I’ve found so far. The views from the trails are absolutely beautiful, especially the Lotus Garden area and the views along the coast. I come back often whenever I need a peaceful moment or a quiet place to reflect.
