We’re fortunate to live near Lower Huron, Oakwoods, and Willow Metroparks. While homeschooling our children, we enjoyed many of the parks’ programs, attended Boy Scout merit badge sessions, and have regularly used the hike-bike trails and campsites. Our most memorable experience, though, came this past January, when we spotted three bald eagles — two adults and a juvenile — while hiking in Lower Huron. -Michael
