Started the 2026 Trail Challenge with Birding in mind! I’ve been able to see multiple hawks, woodpeckers, a green heron, great egret, and mourning doves up close or through my binoculars! Have also hung out close to some Canadian geese and ducks. I never realized how vast the bird species in Michigan was before visiting these parks! -Lune
