I grew up near Indian Springs Metropark and have fond memories of going to different programs there during the 1980’s. I even saw my first rattlesnake there on a guided hike as a child. Now I enjoy taking my own son there. He has grown up going to both Indian Springs and Kensington. Hiking around the nature centers, sledding, biking, kayaking and fishing are some of our favorite activities. This summer my son was all smiles when he caught his first pike while fishing in Kent Lake at Kensington.
