We woke up to a very rainy Saturday, so decided to go to Oakwoods Metropark to complete another Trail Challenge. When we checked in at the entrance booth, we saw that there was a kid’s program starting in 10 minutes. We went to the nature center and they were able to fit our two kids in to a “What’s it like to be: a herpetologist” program. Both our kids loved the program and wanted to sign up for more programs in the series. The program leader was so engaging and kept the kids’ interest throughout the program. -Katie
