The Woods Creek trail at the Lower Huron Metro park was the first ‘challenging hike of those year for me after surgeries. Several times I wanted to quit, but I didn’t even though I struggled for the last mile. The personal triumph and just enjoying the glorious views of the Huron and surrounding trees welcomed me back to a world of hiking I have missed for over 2 years. Woods Creek is home!
