The Huron-Clinton Metroparks Trail challenge has been a way to re-establish family bonds. Two of my sisters recently moved back to SE Michigan. Last year we did the trail challenge. This year we added two team members, my wife and my sisters dog Milo. It has been fun finding the kiosks, walking and getting reacquainted. It was also a revelation discovering just how wide and diverse the metropark system is.
Yesterday I saw a moth I had not seen in many years. Clearwing hummingbird moth at the Butterfly Viewing Trail in Oakwoods Metropark. Looking forward to finishing up this year again.
