I first signed up for the Metroparks Trail Challenge a couple years ago to explore the different parks while training for a race. My husband asked to join me on one of my park trips, and we ended up finishing out the season together and the last 2 years have both signed up and it’s our new annual tradition. We love strategizing on which park to visit each weekend and comparing the different parts of the park we explore year over year – and getting to bring our dog along too is the best part. It’s truly become a family tradition and leads to so much quality time together getting out, enjoying nature, and exploring the parks. We love doing the trails together! -Isabel
