My wife and I have truly enjoyed visiitng all the parks but with our busy schedules, we knew getting to the last couple of parks would be pushing it to beat the 1 October deadline. So we decided instead of taking the time to put our bikes on the car we would just hike to the kiosk instead—quick and easy. We got to Oakwoods Metropark no problem. We parked at the canoe/kayak launch and went looking for the Butterfly Viewing Trail. Unfortunately, we went in the exact wrong direction. What was supposed to be a quick 1/4 mile hike turned into about a mile and half on the wrong trail before getting back to our car and realizing the Butterfly Trail was right behind us. We found the kiosk not too far from our car, took our selfies and a few extra pics! Made another great memories to laugh about! -Grover
