The Metroparks have become some of my favorite places to go birdwatching bird and spend time in nature.

Every park feels a little different, and that’s part of what makes exploring them so fun! One visit might mean watching Bald Eagles near their nest, another might bring a new bird for my life list, and sometimes it’s just a quiet walk through the woods listening for whatever happens to be nearby.

For me, the Metroparks are places to slow down and appreciate just how much wildlife we have right here in Michigan. -Carrissa
