The deck behind the Oakwoods nature center is one of my favorite places to visit. You walk up, and nothing is there. Then you glimpse a woodpecker, then you notice some mallards, then there’s 2 eagles in the tree in the distance, then a blue gray gnatcatcher calls in the distance. You just have to wait and observe and the wildlife will show up. I love it. -Brian
