Before we signed up for the Trail Challenge, our family was familiar with the Indian Springs, Kensington, and Stony Creek Metroparks. Thanks to this challenge we have visited towns we haven’t been to before and learned how unique each Metropark is. We’ve enjoyed discovering new trails, waterparks, and more. One of the highlights for me as a parent has been pointing out wildlife to our toddler on our bike rides and walks. We’ve seen families of turkeys, deer, and sandhill cranes (and of course, so many geese). On hot days the nature centers have been a great place to take a break from the sun and see turtles and fish. This challenge has been a fun motivator to get outdoors and I would highly recommend it! -Ashley
