As a born and raised Michigander, I spent my childhood attending family reunions at Stony Creek and then running cross country races in high school at Wolcott and Lake St. Clair. It was so special to bring my Florida then-fiancé to Indian Springs to tour the space for our wedding. When we visited, we saw a pair of Sandhill Cranes – these are my husbands favorite birds and a great sign for our wedding, as they mate for life! My favorite Metropark memory is definitely our October wedding, but we love completing the Trail Challenge and seeing our incredible natural spaces here in SE Michigan! -Andrea
