Kensington Metropark is the largest and oldest of the Metroparks with plenty of things to do throughout the park. When I visited Kensington recently I had a full day of fun and activities. I started off by hitting the Deer Run Nature Trail and grabbing the Trail Challenge Kiosk. Afterwards I ate some delicious ice cream while strolling through the farm center. The farm center was very informative and had several baby animals, most of which were born within the last few months! I finished my day off with a ride on the Island Queen boat. The ride was super fun and informative about the park and animals that call it home. Overall my day at Kensington Metropark was a wonderful and memorable day! -Alexandra
