Spider Night Hike

Come on a family-focused walk through the woods at night on our nature trails. Spiders come alive at night in search of their prey. A spider’s eyes will reflect light, allowing us to find them as we shine our lights. We’ll also find many other insects out looking for food too! We will supply flashlights if you need one.

What to Expect:
This class starts and ends indoors. Participants will take a short hike (.5-1 mile) after dark on compact gravel trails.

Ages: Children 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Time: 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult

Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
