Students will learn the basics of what to do in an outdoor survival situation, then team up to choose essential items from a survival scenario. Students will practice basic knots used in survival. Outdoors, student will divide into three teams and use these same knots to construct a pole sled (travois) large enough to ride on and then transform into a shelter.

This program runs 2.5 hours.
