Bring your students to experience the sounds and smells of spring at Stony Creek! Students will explore the forest, pond, and fields to discover what plants and animals live there. Students will take a short hike to a pond to listen for and observe the life cycles of birds and amphibians. Along the way, students will venture through a forest using their senses to feel and smell different plants as they learn about their life cycles and role in food chains. Students will learn what an insect is by grabbing a net and sweeping in the fields to identify what they catch.
