Program Description:
Enjoy a guided .5-mile hike along uneven mixed gravel trails, distance of the hike can be adjusted to the age and abilities of the group. On this hike students will observe and discover the patterns of the season. As a class we will discuss the basic needs of the plants and animals during the season and compare different habitats to analyze the unique ways that animals are adapted to meet their needs. Students will note changes in each habitat by observing foliage, plant growth, and animal diversity. Bring your students back each season so they can make predictions and observations about the patterns of the seasons.
