Students will discover what animals need to survive and what survival strategies animals use as they prepare for the changing of the seasons. Working together, the class will create a map of where different species can be found during the current season. Students will have a chance to interact with live animals, hear animal calls, and touch animal pelts and artifacts. Topics will correspond with the current season. If you’d like an indoor/outdoor experience but only have an hour, we’d be happy to offer the second half of the program as a nature walk.
