Program Description:
Discover the science and history of maple sugaring. This program includes finding and tapping a maple tree, tour Native American and
pioneer sugaring camps, watching the process of turning sap into syrup and tasting the sweet results. As we visit different trees in search
of a maple tree, students will learn about the parts of a tree and their functions. Your students will see, touch, and taste as they achieve
a higher level of understanding and respect toward the environment and the contributions of Native American people. Cap off your
exploration with a pancake breakfast at the Farm Grille for an additional fee. This program is only available in February and March.
