Program Description:

Explore how the weather, seasons, and a maple tree’s needs and structures combine to produce sap. Your students will use all their senses as they discover the steps it takes to get from maple sap to tasty maple syrup. They will also learn how this process has changed over time as they visit Native American and pioneer sugaring camps. Consider capping off your exploration with a pancake breakfast at the Farm Grille for an additional fee. This program is only available in February and March.
