Program Description:
How and why does Michigan look the way it does? Let’s explore the way that glaciers move, how they shaped the landforms we see today, and the geological processes that are still at work all around us. Indoors, students will learn about how, when, and where the glaciers shaped the landscape around them. Outdoors, we’ll discover a variety of present-day glacial landforms including kames, kettles, and moraines along our Landscape Trail.
